By applying for, accessing, or using any part of Blend’s services, platform, membership, or community experiences (collectively, the “Services”), you (“you”, “Member”, “User”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Membership Policy, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, each as may be amended from time to time.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms or our policies, you must not apply for membership, or you should immediately cease using the Services.
1.1 What these terms cover. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Blend platform, content, membership benefits, events, courses, communities, and any other features or functionalities we offer as part of the Services.
1.2 Additional terms. Some components of the Services (e.g. a particular course, event, cohort, or feature) may have additional terms. Those additional terms will be incorporated into these Terms by reference. In case of a conflict, the more specific terms will govern that specific component.
1.3 Order of precedence. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Membership Policy, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, or Cookie Policy, the following order governs:
2.1 Eligibility. To become or remain a Member, you must meet Blend’s eligibility criteria (seniority, role, experience, alignment), as determined by Blend in its discretion. Blend may verify your employment and seniority information.
2.2 Application & Approval. Membership is subject to approval. You must provide accurate and complete information in your application. False or misleading statements may result in denial, suspension, or termination of membership.
2.3 Age. You must be at least 18 years old to become a member. If under 18, you may not use the Services.
2.4 Discretionary refusal. Blend reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or revoke access to the Services or membership at any time, for any reason, including for violation of these Terms or behavior inconsistent with the spirit of the community.
3.1 Account creation. To access many of our Services, you must create an account and provide certain information. You agree to maintain accurate, up-to-date information.
3.2 Account security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any use of your account, whether authorized or not. You must notify Blend immediately of any suspected unauthorized use.
3.3 License & permitted use. Subject to these Terms, Blend grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
3.4 Usage restrictions. You may not:
3.5 Responsibility for use. You are responsible for all use of your account or credentials, whether by you or others.
4.1 Membership term. Your membership begins when Blend accepts your application and you pay the applicable fee. Unless otherwise stated, membership is for a 12-month period.
4.2 Renewal. Your membership renews automatically for successive terms unless you or Blend gives notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the renewal date.
4.3 Fees & changes. Fees are payable in advance and per Blend’s pricing schedule. Blend may change fees or payment terms with prior notice to you.
4.4 No refunds. Unless otherwise specified, membership fees are non-refundable, even if your membership is terminated mid-term (except to the extent required by law).
4.5 Promotions & trials. If you receive promotional pricing, discounts, or free trials, upon their expiration your membership will renew at standard price unless cancelled.
4.6 Payment methods. Payments must be made via approved methods selected by Blend. You permit Blend to charge your designated payment method.
5.1 Behavior & content. You must comply with the Code of Conduct at all times. You are responsible for content you post or share through Blend (discussions, files, comments). Do not post unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or infringing content.
5.2 License to Blend. By posting content, you grant Blend a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, and adapt that content for the operation of the Services.
5.3 Blend content & IP. All intellectual property rights (software, branding, content, course materials) are owned by Blend or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5.4 Trademarks & branding. You may not use Blend’s logos, trademarks, or branding without express written permission.
6.1 Additional terms. If you participate in events, workshops, or courses, you may be required to agree to additional rules (e.g. refund policies, cancellation terms, attendance requirements).
6.2 Photography & recording. Events may be recorded or photographed. Your participation constitutes consent for Blend to use images or recordings, subject to the Privacy Policy and any opt-out you express in advance.
6.3 Safety & behaviour. You agree to behave respectfully, follow event staff instructions, and comply with venue rules. Blend reserves the right to remove a participant for misconduct.
7.1 Privacy & data. Blend processes your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
7.2 Anonymized data. Blend may use aggregated, de-identified data for analytics, product development, or research.
8.1 “As is.” The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Blend disclaims all warranties, express or implied, except to the extent prohibited by law.
8.2 No guarantee. Blend does not guarantee outcomes, results, or that your participation will deliver specific benefits.
9.1 Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blend’s aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms or the Services is limited to the membership fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Blend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9.2 Exceptions. These limitations do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by Blend’s negligence, fraud, or other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
9.3 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blend, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Services in violation of these Terms.
10.1 Termination by Blend. Blend may suspend or terminate your access or membership (in whole or part) at any time, with notice or immediately, for violation of these Terms, Code of Conduct, or at Blend’s discretion.
10.2 Termination by you. You may cancel your membership per the process defined in the Membership Policy. Termination by you does not generally entitle you to a refund unless required by law.
10.3 Effects of termination. Upon termination:
11.1 Right to amend. Blend may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services or these Terms at any time.
11.2 Notice & effective date. For material changes, Blend will provide notice (e.g. by email or platform announcement) at least [X days] before the changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Dispute resolution. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, or in courts of appropriate jurisdiction (as specified below).
12.3 Jurisdiction. You and Blend submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute not subject to arbitration.
13.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, along with the Membership Policy, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blend and supersede all prior terms.
13.2 Severability. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms remain in effect.
13.3 Waiver. Failure by Blend to enforce any right does not constitute waiver of that right.
13.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Blend’s written consent. Blend may assign or transfer them freely.
13.5 Notices. Notices may be given electronically (e.g. email or platform messaging), unless otherwise specified.
